Biography
Aamer Abbass, MD, is a part of the interventional endoscopy team at Lee Health. He is thrilled to provide the latest therapeutic endoscopic procedures, devices, and technology to our patients in the Fort Myers area.
Dr. Abbass has a strong passion for understanding the human condition and how illness can impact people's lives. He's also driven by the desire to help others and positively impact their overall well-being.
His knowledge and skillset allow him to explain the pathophysiology of various human illnesses to fellow humans in a way that is easy to understand. He enjoys being able to communicate complex medical information effectively and sees the benefits of doing so in helping people make informed decisions about their health.
Dr. Abbass values the opportunity to establish a human connection and build long-term relationships with his patients. He understands that healthcare is not just about treating the physical symptoms of an illness but also about supporting patients on a deeper level and helping them to improve their overall quality of life.
