Carla Osigian Probst, MD

My name is Carla Osigian and am I pediatric ophthalmologist and I’m originally from Panama City Panama. I joined Lee Health and in May 2022 and I joined because I believe in Lee Health‘s philosophy of giving patients the best quality of care possible. Interested in ophthalmology very early on in life. My father is an ophthalmologist, and as a teenage girl, I would visit him in clinic and see him examining patients. I was always in all of how such a small organ like the eye was at the very at the same time so complex anything, but really got me into it with the first time that I saw a patient take off the patch after having eye surgery and the smile on the patients face after being able to see after a long time. I got interested in pediatric ophthalmology Adrienne on my ophthalmology residency after I did my first rotation, and I saw what a huge impact you make on the rest of their lives when you treat patients so early on adequately with either classes or patching, or the treatments that they require for their eye pathology. For fun, I love spending time with my family especially my young daughter am I am very outdoorsy. I love hiking going to the beach. I also love to travel I’m getting to know new cultures, new people try new foods.
