Biography
Dr. Diana Khalil is a Palliative Care Specialist.
Meet the Doctor
My name is Diana Khalil. I'm board certified in internal medicine and palliative and hospice medicine. I'm currently practicing with lee health as a palliative care physician. I graduated from Alexandria School of Medicine and I’m originally from Alexandria Egypt. I joined Lee Health in 2020. I interviewed very early when I was in my fellowship. When I first came to the city, I really loved the city, it’s a nice environment. It’s a nice small coastal city, which feels like home. So home away from home and when I met with the program and people here I really loved the sense of family and the family environment you practice in so I love the program and want to be part of it. I chose my specialty when I was during my residency. One of my ICU attendings was certified in intensive medicine and palliative and hospice medicine and I saw that he always had something to offer beyond medicine. He offered patients hope in the darkest moments. He offered quality of life and a good life when medicine had nothing more to offer and I wanted to do that. I love being by the beach so much. I love to swim there. I like having long walks in nature and outside and riding my bicycle.
