Biography
Houtan Sareh, MD, is passionate about helping others and is thrilled to be part of Lee Health. He has over two decades of healthcare knowledge and experience, allowing him to provide expert guidance to his patients and their care team. In addition to his medical degree, he completed his internship in internal medicine-pediatrics, his residency in internal medicine, as well as a pulmonary and critical care fellowship.
Dr. Sareh enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for medicine with patients and other medical professionals. Before moving to Southwest Florida, he was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami and later at the University of Maryland. One of his favorite parts of being a professor was mentoring his students, many of whom are now physicians!
Dr. Sareh and his family have lived in Fort Myers for over a decade. Ever since he moved to Southwest Florida, he's felt honored to provide pulmonary and critical care medicine to the people in our community.
In 2024, Palm Beach Media Group recognized Dr. Sareh as one of Southwest Florida’s top doctors from Lee Physician Group. His achievements reflect the high level of care LPG providers offer every day at Lee Health, your community-owned health system. It’s the excellence you expect from providers that live, work, and care for patients right here at home.
