(upbeat music) My name is Dr. Amit Parmar, I work as a Hospitalist so I deal with adult patients that are admitted to the hospital and take care of them like if they have any acute major illnesses and also coordinate with the specialists and ancillary staff about their care. My other classmates were more going toward engineering and I thought I wanted to be doing something different so that’s what made me choose this and also the opportunity to work with people and improving their like health and at time when they are going through rough patches in their life so that’s something that is amazing so I felt yeah I think that’s what made me go into this field. Um, when I came here for my interview I did some research and got like good reviews about the whole health system and it’s one of the biggest health systems and nonprofit organization and I found that people were pretty friendly here even the administrative staff were pretty friendly and receptive. I like traveling. Me and my wife both like traveling, and sports, I like swimming so with this weather I get more opportunity to do that. (upbeat music)
