Biography

Dr. Santana is passionate about all neurological conditions, from the treatable and curable conditions to some degenerative conditions with a progressive course. She enjoys treating patients who have migraines, cluster headaches and trigeminal neuralgias. She finds it rewarding to be able to “give [their] life back” and treat headache patients so they are able to enjoy more time with their family and at work once their headaches are controlled.

She has treated some patients with CIDP or myathenia gravis who have recovered from being in a wheelchair and have become ambulatory. She also finds fulfillment guiding and treating patients on their course of progressive diseases, such as dementia and ALS.

As a neurologist, her mission is not to always “cure," but to guide patients and family through the expectations of certain conditions and to provide the best quality of life possible.
