Biography
Xiangkun (Kevin) Cao, MD, chose to work in cardiology because it allows him to help patients who are both acutely ill and chronically sick. He strives to provide compassionate care to all his patients.
Dr. Cao enjoys discovering new things at work daily, which is what Cardio-oncology brings. He loves spending time with patients and educating them on different aspects of their medical care related to chemotherapeutic treatments for their cancer diagnosis.
Dr. Cao is from the east coast of Florida and grew up a Gator fan. He had always planned to come back home to serve the people of Florida. Lee Health offers the flexibility to continue to grow Cardio-oncology as a service in our community.
