RING THAT BELL, JAXSON! Jaxson and his friend Dorian, our full-time canine employee, recently celebrated the end of Jaxson’s chemotherapy treatment at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida!

In August, Jaxson was diagnosed with B-Cell Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He and his family are thrilled to be finished with chemotherapy, and they will now just visit the hospital for check-ups.

Jaxson’s positive attitude and contagious sense of humor have been known around Golisano since he was a toddler.

Before his cancer diagnosis, Jaxson underwent a kidney transplant, but no matter what challenges have been thrown his way, he always pushed through with a big smile.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer and begins chemotherapy at Golisano, they are given a bell to decorate for their big day to celebrate the end of treatment.

Jaxson decided to decorate his in honor of his favorite Kansas City Chiefs player, Patrick Mahomes. The staff at the Barbara’s Friends pediatric hematology and oncology center know that Jaxson is always ready and excited to talk about his favorite football team.

Congratulations Jaxson, you did it!
