Welcome to Cookie's Place, a boutique nestled within the Regional Cancer Center, a part of Lee Health's Cancer Institute. Here at Cookie's Place, we go beyond traditional offerings to provide comfort and support for cancer patients. Our boutique offers a range of thoughtful services, including stylish clothing, confidence-boosting wigs, and soothing massage therapies. Our goal is to enhance the well-being of our patients, providing them with not just products and services, but also a sense of solace during their challenging journey.

Mastectomy Certified Fitters

At Cookie's Place, we have certified BOC mastectomy fitters on staff to help personalize your experience. We will ensure your fitting process is perfect for your body and you leave feeling confident. We accept Medicare and most major insurance providers.

We combine conventional Western medicine and scientifically based, alternative treatments to help alleviate symptoms associated with cancer and cancer treatments. Call ahead to book a massage therapy session, our prices are: 30 minute massage: $35, 60 minute massage: $70, 90 minute massage: $90.

Where did the name Cookie's Place originate from?

Cookie’s Place Boutique is named after Cookie Needle. Cookie was a make-up artist in Hollywood when she was diagnosed with cancer and given six months to live. Rather than dwelling on death she embraced life for another nine years and encouraged others to do the same. When her trademark red hair started falling out during treatment, she was able to get a flattering wig that made her feel like herself again and was inspired to help others do the same. She was instrumental in opening Magic Choices Boutique, which is now known as Cookie’s Place Boutique in remembrance of her determination and generous spirit.

Parking & Transportation

Parking is easy at Cookie's Place Boutique! Park for free right in front of the entrance and all around the facility. Or feel free to drop off passengers, patients, and visitors at the front door before parking. The Regional Cancer Center has two buildings 100 and 200, Cookie's Place Boutique is located in right building.

To reach our facility off I-75 Highway take the Colonial Blvd exit west. On Colonial Blvd on the right had side. We are located behind the Tesla Car Dealership, Truist Bank, and Bob Evans Resturant.

Cancer treatment can be a long and scary journey, but one boutique is offering patients products to make the journey a little more comfortable.

Retail Associate Pamela McCrone works at Cookie’s Place at the Regional Cancer Center. She says cancer patients are often overwhelmed when they come to the center. “The gals come in many times a little shaky many, many times, not knowing what to expect. Hopefully, we do provide a service for them and they walk out feeling whole again.”

McCrone says her goal is to help patients find solace when they walk into Cookie’s Place. “It was started by Cookie Needle who is a cancer patient herself, who has passed away. She started the boutique years ago before the cancer center was open. She kind of started a process for ladies for makeup, hair, and wigs.”

Filled with essential oils, soaps, and gifts, many might mistake Cookie’s Place for a gift shop. But Pamela says it offers patients with so much more. “It’s a medical boutique, not just gifts.”

Cookies Place is filled with hats, scarves, bathing suits, even a lending library so patients can check out books to help them through their treatment. “Anything that we could do to help our patients, like massage, the oils, wigs, and prosthetics are big volume,” said McCrone.

Patients undergoing chemotherapy can also browse through the wide selection of wigs. The associates are trained to help patients find the right prosthetics that will work for them.

“It is, to me, a phenomenon. I just am amazed at what they have provided for the patients,” said McCrone.

A variety of services and products that offer patients hope and comfort through their cancer treatment.
