After Your Appointment
We will file your primary insurance claim and — upon receipt of your insurance payment or denial — we will automatically file any other policies you need.
You will be informed of your account activity through a letter or statement from our Business Office until your account is paid in full. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our central Business Office at 239-424-1500.
Doctor Bills
You will receive a separate bill from your doctor as well as any other doctors who were involved with your care. During your admission, if you had x-rays, laboratory tests or surgery, you will receive a separate bill from the doctors who interpreted the x-rays (radiologist) or provided lab services (pathologist) or administered anesthesia (anesthesiologist).
If you were admitted through the emergency department, the doctor in the emergency room also will send a separate bill. If you receive a bill from any doctor related to your stay, please contact their office(s) directly with any questions or concerns you may have about their bill(s) or your payment responsibilities.
