Biography

Dr. Biller developed a love for taking care of sick animals which quickly transitioned to a passion for medicine.

I was inspired to pursue surgery by a strong core of surgical residents in the inner city hospitals of Philadelphia. It was a pediatric surgical fellow there that said “Katarina – have you ever thought about pediatric surgery "you would  be great!” And I’ve never looked back.

Dr. Biller has worked with kids and their parents through  surgical conditions which she finds challenging and a privilege. She strives to connect with the patients on a human level, at their level which involves authenticity and often humor or silliness to put them at ease.

As a parent herself, she has a deeper understanding of parental worries and fears and am able to tailor my understanding and re-assurance to those concerns.

Practicing in Southwest Florida offers a cultural and ethnic diversity in a region that is very different from anywhere I’ve trained or practiced.
