Biography

Vinaitheertha Jeyabarath, MD, is the youngest in a large family with many physicians. Dr. Jeyabarath chose to become a cardiologist early in medical school as he was fascinated by the auscultatory and clinical findings of cardiac pathology.

Every patient's problem is unique, and Dr. Jeyabarath believes a comprehensive evaluation starting by listening to the patient's history helps him to provide tailored care for each of them. 

Dr. Jeyabarath loves the Southwest Florida area. We're home to a one-of-a-kind music program that a neurodivergent adult son is a part of. He likes being part of a system that provides excellent health care to the people in our community.

    I would highly recommend Dr. Jay and his staff ! Dr Jay listened to all of my concerns and took the time to explain everything to me with such patience and understanding to all my questions !     The appointment scheduler, Peggy, was great! She showed care and concern when I called the office and needed an appointment. She made the earliest appointment she could find, then called back a few days later when an appointment became available. The Medical A ssistant, Rachel, listened to my history and also showed concern for my care. Dr. Jeyabarath listened and took notes while I told him my medical history. He was confident and competent in his assessment skills. He was also confident in outlining a treatment plan. Thank you, Dr. Jeyabarath and team!
