You'll notice the difference right away at Golisano Children's Hospital Emergency Department – the only ED in Lee County built just for children.
Specially trained in pediatrics, we know how to soothe anxiety while treating a variety of conditions. That means fast emergency care, done with compassion and understanding.
We tackle respiratory problems, bleeding, severe pain, injuries from accidents, broken bones, wounds, seizures, or any medical condition that makes a parent or caregiver uncomfortable.
The Golisano Children's Hospital Emergency Department will perform any necessary tests to correctly diagnose and treat your child. This includes observation, blood and urine tests, X-rays, advanced imaging technology, CT scans, and MRIs.
Our emergency team understands that many tests can be scary for a child. That's why our staff is trained to soothe fears and lighten the atmosphere while still providing quality care.
No matter the issue, our staff will quickly assess the situation and put a focused plan into action – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
