Dr. Valerie earned his medical degree at Brown University Medical School, Providence, Rhode Island. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at the State University of New York, Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn.
He completed a pediatric surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Valerie is board certified in adult and pediatric surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
