Kristine Fay, MHA, CMPE
Chief Officer, Community-Based Care
Kris Fay joined Lee Health in 2012 and currently serves as the Chief Officer for Community-Based Care.
Kris oversees a medical group that employs more than 1,100 physicians and advanced providers, as well as the outpatient services and locations for the health system. She is responsible for the overall growth, strategy, and operations of the employed physician group, and for achieving financial, quality, engagement, and patient experience targets. Additionally, she is responsible for the overall effectiveness and strategic growth of outpatient services, including virtual health, urgent care, imaging, lab services, neuroscience services, and behavioral health. Kris also supervises the Lee Health Center for Care Transformation, a center that focuses on advancing value-based care initiatives, such as care redesign and contract performance.
Before joining Lee Health, Kris worked as the Chief Operating Officer for Bon Secours Medical Group in Richmond, VA. She also held the position of Chief Operating Officer for Providence Physician Services in Spokane, WA, and Director of Physician Services at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH.
Kris is certified by the American College of Medical Practice Executives and is a member of the National Medical Group Management Association. She served as a board member for the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce and completed the Leadership Lee County program for the Chamber of Southwest Florida.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. She resides in Fort Myers with her husband, Anthony, and their golden retriever, Clyde.
