Dr. Janine Harewood is originally from Barbados. She was the recipient of the University of West Indies Open Scholarship in Medical School and has previous research experience in breast cancer and quality improvement. Dr. Harewood has published multiple review articles, book chapters and case reports. She has also held many administrative positions throughout her career. She is an advocate for under-represented/at risk populations and a healthy lifestyle.

    After leaving a competitive cancer center, there was no comparison in the care, examination, time spent, and decision making by Doctor Harewood. I was so pleased and happy with the care after spending over two years with the other cancer center. There is no qu estion that I made the right decision by changing doctors. Everyone else I dealt with as a new patient was very helpful, smiling, and seemed happy at their jobs.
