Biography

Originally from South Carolina, Dr. Smith trained in Detroit, Ml, and is excited to be relocating to Fort Myers, FL to be closer to family and once again live in the sunny south! Growing up in a family full of women, he developed a strong sense of advocacy for women's and gender-diverse individual's health rights and access to care.

Dr. Smith loves practicing Obstetrics & Gynecology because, in his opinion, it is the most unique and rewarding field of medicine. He takes pride in helping his patients bring new life into the world. He also enjoys providing evidence-based practices and up-to-date medical knowledge to his patients so they can feel more empowered to make decisions about their health, wellness, and reproductive planning.

    Dr. Smith was professional, kind, & listened to everything I had to say. He was compassionate when I told him of my wife’s passing. Explained in detail about the biopsy in office & the D&C I had in hospital. I would definitely recommend him to others.

    Dr. Smith was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I feel very taken care of by most of the doctors on staff, (save for just the one that I didn't have a good experience with) I'm very happy to be in this Doctor's care for my c-section.

    Dr. Smith was very detailed in explaining all information regarding my pregnancy. He made sure I understood and answered all my questions. The front desk staff and the Assistant to the Dr also did a great job in their respective positions .

    I feel that dr. Smith is an outstanding doctor because his ability to explain everything and knows exactly what to ask and symptoms to look for in case I had a question on certain things. He seems very knowledgeable and patient. He also takes his time and I do n't feel rushed at any moment to hurry up and get out of the room. He also very empathetic keeps great eye contact with me, clearly cares about his profession and his patients. I truly feel I can trust him 100% with my gynecological health needs. I wish that other doctors learn from his approach to his patients. I feel the experience is very personalized. His attention to detail is important and overall he is an impressive doctor to say the least.

    The best gyn doctor any mom to be could ever ask for. He's very nice detail oriented very thorough. He shows compassion towards his patients. Every visit he explain things to me and look further into my health trying to help me where he can. I been anemia for a long time now due to sickle cell trait my hemoglobin never seems to stay above 10. He requested that i get iron infusion to see if it can bring it up even tho i explained to him that's my normal he went the extra miles trying to figure what was causing the anemia, And i appreciate him for doing that no other doctor ever go that far. I love dr Jeffrey Smith because he shows compassionate care and provide exceptional care to his patients.Thank you so much dr Jeffrey smith you are amazing! Your caring didn't go unnoticed.
