(upbeat music) My name is Venkata Parsa I’m actually a Medical Oncologist here at Lee Physicians Group. I was originally born in India but I’ve been in the United States since 2002. It’s interesting because you know, the different specialties, and oncology is one of the specialties where it’s more patient centered, there is a lot of patient contact. And also there is a lot of listening which is different than other procedures and that was always something that was very attractive. And in addition there is always a lot of changes in oncology and there is a lot of education which is also exciting. Where it’s a field that is always improving which is also very gratifying. Lee actually was starting their own program and it’s not very often that you get to be a part of something that is being built from the ground up. And I wanted to join Lee and then help make this happen. My wife is also a nephrologist and so between both of us free time is kind of a premium so the best thing is actually drinking coffee in the mornings. And then we have two girls so their activities and then we bike and we also swim and try to travel as much as I can. I do read a lot of books. (upbeat music)

Dr. Parsa is a humble , yet brilliant, caretaker of humanity. I saw firsthand witnessed the doctor inspire his student providers, complement and show respect for subordinate team members. I was kind of star struck. He is taking the reins of fulfilling the prom ise. If he wasn’t such a great provider, he should be an administrator .
