Lee Health recognizes the importance of our thousands of volunteers. Because of the immense value that is placed on volunteers, Lee Health invests a lot of time and energy to make sure the volunteer "fits" with the position he or she is applying for.
Volunteers Onboarding Process:
- Submit an Application
- Once your completed application has been received, we will conduct a background check, and contact you to confirm your attendance at an orientation
- Attend an Orientation Session
- Commit to volunteering a minimum of once a week
- Commit to at least Four Consecutive months from your start date
- Attend an interview to discuss your volunteer preferences
- Complete the following Health Requirements before starting
- Flu Vaccine during Flu Season (October-May) at our expense
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- Purchase a Uniform Shirt
